Pneumatically operated seat actuators serve the same purpose as standard ball valves for shutting off media in pipelines. Seat valves have a lower pressure drop than standard ball valves. There is no need to connect any additional pneumatic actuator or servo drive to the valve. Control is ensured by supplying compressed air (pneumatics) directly to the inlets at the top of the valve. Another advantage is the shorter closing time or large flow rates. The valve body is made of stainless steel AISI 316. Flanged or welded versions are available on request.
