Flow meters

The immediate status control of media flow in hydronic systems can be conducted via a flowmeter, which measures using the principle of a float and a fixed spring. The measured medium can be water with appropriate anti-corrosion and antifreeze additives, as well as heating or cooling water. The measured flow is displayed on a calibrated scale. The water flowmeter is small and compact, making it easy to install even in places with minimal space. It can be used for both heating and cooling water, even with the addition of anti-corrosion and antifreeze additives.

Closely related to water flowmeters are flow switches, which are devices that allow the automatic switching on and off of an electric pump when there is a drop in pressure and flow stoppage in the system or when contacts are opened and closed. Another function is to switch off the pump when running dry if there is no water in the pump. This protects the pump from damage that could occur when running dry. The flow switch requires no maintenance. It can be manually set to either switch on or off. Flow switches are suitable for use with liquid media such as water, seawater, pool water, ethylene glycol, or other liquids that do not cause damage to the materials used.

We can monitor the immediate status in hydronic systems through a flowmeter, which measures using the principle of a float and a fixed spring. The flowmeter is small and compact, so it can be easily installed even in places with minimal space. It can be used for both heating and cooling water, even with the addition of anti-corrosive and antifreeze additives. Operating conditions are pressure up to 10 bar and temperatures up to 100°C.
