Fire alarms (also known as smoke detectors, smoke alarms, or fire detectors) serve as an early warning system against the imminent risk of fire. These devices can optically or thermally detect the presence of smoke or fire in the monitored area. Their function is indispensable for the protection of health and property and is often required by current safety regulations. In our range, you will find models suitable for homes, recreational properties, and commercial spaces, as well as specialized models for sewage systems, pipelines, and ventilation systems. Smoke detectors can be easily placed on the wall or ceiling of a room, or any enclosed space. The placement of smoke detectors is not suitable in areas where steam or smoke is a normal occurrence that does not pose a danger (e.g., in the kitchen or garage). For these places, we recommend detectors with a thermal principle. The timely triggering of an alarm in the event of smoke or an emerging fire is ensured by optical and acoustic signaling with an alarm mute function as needed. To test the functionality of smoke detectors, our smoke tester spray will serve you well. Fire alarms can function as standalone independent units with battery power, or they can be part of a system of up to 20 detectors connected to a central unit, which provides their power and continuously monitors and evaluates all data received from the detectors. Connecting detectors to a central unit is the optimal solution for a complex of interconnected rooms or buildings, as it significantly facilitates the collection and evaluation of data from various detectors for security personnel. A special group is WiFi smoke detectors, which, in addition to optical and acoustic signaling, can also send warnings about the presence of smoke or fire online.
