The control panel, or control unit Regin ABV-S300/D is designed for use with detectors from the Regin S65... and SDD... series. The control panel can connect multiple detectors simultaneously - up to 20 at once. All connected detectors are powered by the control panel. The control panel is designed to comply with all modern fire protection regulations.

The unit continuously monitors and evaluates all data received from the detectors. Detectors are connected to the control panel using a two-wire loop (included with the detectors). A terminating resistor should be connected to the last detector in the loop. In the event of a loop short circuit or circuit interruption, the control panel will activate the smoke alarm to report an error.

Upon detecting the presence of smoke, the control panel will activate the connected external smoke alarm device and illuminate the alarm red LED indicator. After the alarm ends, it must be reset using the RESET button.

The detectors are capable of reporting their degree of contamination to the control panel. If any of them become too contaminated with dust or other debris, it will start flashing red, the yellow indicator on the control panel will light up, and the control panel will trigger a service alarm.

The control panel also features a green indicator, which signifies that the control panel is in operation.
