2. Sensing element

Thanks to Danfoss offering two sensing technologies, it can cover versatile application requirements and offer highly competitive solutions.
Both technologies are designed for operation in several different environments:
  • piezoresistive semiconductor technology covers pressure ranges from 1 to 600 bar.
    • this technology is available in absolute or relative version
  • thin-film technology is mainly used in high-pressure applications up to 2200 bar
    • this technology is available only in relative version.

3. Housing

The construction of the sensors ensures stable operation throughout their lifetime thanks to:
  • high resistance to shocks and vibrations
  • high degree of protection (up to IP 69K)
  • A. Shock protection - solutions with shock limitation preventing hydraulic shocks and cavitation
  • B. Stainless steel parts - all wetted parts are made of stainless steel
