Grundfos ALPHA1 is an intelligent and energy-efficient circulation pump designed for heating systems and hot water circulation. It is based on the proven ALPHA2 platform and combines modern technology, advanced features, and intuitive control with an affordable price. This makes it highly reliable, flexible, and easy to install. It is an ideal replacement for older pumps (e.g., UPS) and a suitable choice for new installations. It is suitable for both single and twin-pipe systems, radiator heating, and underfloor heating.

The ALPHA1 series is suitable for both standard and more demanding applications. It can be used in family homes, residential units, and smaller commercial properties.

Easy control with a single button allows you to select the optimal operating mode. The integrated display provides instant feedback on current energy consumption.

Installation is quick and hassle-free thanks to its compact dimensions and ALPHA electrical connector. Available in construction lengths of 130 or 180 mm, with G1, G1½, or G2 threads depending on the type.

  • 25 – Nominal diameter (DN) of the suction and discharge port in mm (DN25)
  • 40 – Maximum head in dm (i.e., 4 metres)
  • 180 – Construction length in mm

    • [ ] (Empty) – Cast iron body (standard version for general use)
    • A – Body with air separator (for applications with air in the liquid, e.g., heating systems)
    • N – Stainless steel body (suitable for drinking water and domestic hot water – DHW)
