The RNIV1 evaluation relay is designed for monitoring the level of conductive liquids and temperature using conductivity electrodes and a thermal fuse or PTC thermistor. This device serves as a functional replacement for the NIV 101/A model from Wilo and is adapted to connect both types of inputs to a single relay output contact. It is designed to automatically switch off when the liquid level drops or the motor overheats, which is indicated by LED lights. The RNIV1 allows for easy installation on a TS35 DIN rail and is compatible with a power supply voltage of 24 VAC.

Main Features:

  • Inputs for conductivity electrodes and thermal fuse/PTC thermistor.
  • One potential-free changeover relay contact.
  • Status indication via LED lights: yellow (level), red (temperature).
  • Power supply voltage 24 VAC.
  • Mounting on DIN rail TS35 for easy installation.
  • Power consumption max. 0.5VA, delay approx. 2s.
  • Lifespan of at least 20 x 10^6 cycles.
  • Operating temperature -10 to 50°C, humidity 10 to 95%RH without condensation.
  • Enclosure protection rating IP40, terminal blocks IP20.

Installation and Connection:

  • It is recommended to thoroughly read the instructions before installation and connection.
  • Electrode and power wires should be routed separately.
  • Optimal use of coaxial cable for electrode wires with a maximum length of 20m.
