The Grundfos MAGNA3 pump is part of a range of efficient and high-quality pumps. It is the successor to the original range of MAGNA pumps. The pump features a range of automatic functions that contribute to maximum efficiency and economical operation. Another advantage is the ability to communicate via wireless IR technology and operation and monitoring via a smartphone (a module enabling communication needs to be purchased separately).

The pump complies with the EuP directive.

AUTOADAPT, FLOWLIMIT, FLOWADAPT Functions

Thanks to the AUTOADAPT function, the pump analyses the heating system's requirements and responds to its changes by adjusting its performance. The pump reacts to every change in conditions by altering its operating point. This function ensures optimal comfort along with energy savings.

The FLOWLIMIT function allows setting a maximum flow limit. The pump continuously monitors the flow rate of the liquid and ensures that the required flow is not exceeded under stable operating conditions. This contributes to the balance of the entire system and reduces the need for balancing valves.

The FLOWADAPT function is a combination of the above functions. It allows for further energy savings.

The Dual Circulation Pump MAGNA3 Operates in Modes

• Alternating Operation - alternating pumps in operation every 24 hours
• Backup Operation - the second pump activates only in case of a failure of the first pump
• Cascade Operation - operation of both pumps simultaneously = achieving almost double the flow compared to the operation of a single pump
