A backwash filter for drinking water ensures a continuous supply of filtered water and captures mechanical impurities (e.g. rust, sand or fibres), helping to reduce the risk of corrosion in the pipework. The lead-free design (lead content in all parts 0.1%) is suitable for installations with hygiene and water quality requirements. Backwashing is quick and effective and also allows water supply during the backwash cycle. The filter is designed for installation in horizontal pipework with the sump facing downwards.
