The sensor monitors the CO2 level in the flowing air within ventilation or air conditioning systems. The sensing is based on the principle of optical infrared absorption measurement. The sensors can be used to regulate supply or exhaust air or as components of a building management system. The sensor is ideally suited for rooms where a large number of people gather, such as schools, museums, study rooms, lecture halls, theatres, cinemas, offices, and others, where smoking is also prohibited.
This sensor is not intended as a warning safety signal for smoke or gas leaks. Additionally, the sensors are not designed for outdoor use.
