As a central mixing device, the NovaMix Value automatic thermostatic mixing valve ensures a constant temperature of mixed water at the outlet. This protects users from scalding due to high water temperatures in the reservoir at the point of use. The valves offer a wider range of applications thanks to three available dimensions [connections ¾" (DN15), 1" (DN20), and 1¼" (DN25)]. Special seals on the valve spindle of the thermostatic piston keep unwanted mixing to a minimum*, ensuring maximum utilization of the water temperature in the reservoir.

NovaMix Value is primarily used in the field of sanitary engineering as a control element for reducing the temperature of utility water from storage heaters. In the event of a cold water failure, the hot water supply is automatically interrupted and tightly closed. They are also suitable for a range of other applications requiring a constant mix temperature, such as mixers in heating systems and charging a reservoir with a solid fuel boiler.

FUNCTION

The mixing valve is supplied with hot water from the reservoir and cold water from the water mains. The mix temperature is recorded using a thermostatic element. In the event of a deviation from the set temperature, the thermostat moves the coupled spindle and automatically adjusts the flow of hot and cold water at the inlets so that the mix temperature returns to the set value and remains constant.
