Scala2 is a fully integrated domestic waterworks ensuring constant water pressure at all outlets. If several taps are opened simultaneously, SCALA2 adjusts its performance and balances the water pressure. It replaces the original product 98562862.

It includes a pump, motor, pressure tank, pressure sensor, drive, and non-return valve – all in one compact unit.

What is intelligent pump control?

SCALA 2 is equipped with a built-in sensor that continuously measures the outlet pressure. If the pressure drops below the desired level, SCALA 2 immediately increases its performance to compensate for the pressure loss. This is referred to as intelligent pump control, resulting in perfect constant pressure.

Pressure boosting from the water supply: Water pressure is boosted from the municipal water supply.
Pressure boosting from tanks: Water pressure is boosted from rooftop tanks, break tanks, and ground tanks, including rainwater tanks.
Pressure boosting from wells: Draws water from depths of up to 8 metres.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor installation: water-resistant. Protection class IP4D corresponds to IP44.

How to Achieve Constant Water Pressure?

SCALA2 makes a thumping sound on shutdown likely due to water hammer , (a sudden stop in water flow.) Main causes: quick-closing check valve, missing or too-small expansion vessel, loose pipes, or high pressure setting. Fixes: Lower the pressure setting slightly. Add a small expansion vessel on the outlet side. Secure pipes firmly. Make sure there’s only one check valve. Bleed air from the system.
