The Evikon E2630-NO2 is a detector designed for precise monitoring of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) concentration in the air. The device is equipped with an electrochemical sensor that ensures reliable detection and stable measurement even at low concentrations. This makes it ideal for applications where it is necessary to monitor the safety limits of this hazardous gas.

The device is housed in a wall-mounted enclosure with an IP65 protection rating, ensuring its resistance to dust and water. Additionally, it features visual and acoustic alarms for timely warning in case of increased nitrogen dioxide concentration. The E2630-NO2 is equipped with two SPDT relay outputs, allowing easy integration with ventilation and alarm systems.

Common Uses:

The E2630-NO2 detector is intended for monitoring nitrogen dioxide in environments such as industrial halls, chemical plants, laboratories, parking garages, and other enclosed spaces where NO2 accumulation may occur. The device helps prevent health risks associated with exposure to this gas and contributes to ensuring the safety of workers and operations.

Nitrogen Dioxide NO2:

Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is a toxic gas found in the atmosphere as a by-product of fossil fuel combustion, such as in car engines and industrial facilities. It is characterized by its yellow-brown colour and pungent odour. NO2 is a significant air pollutant and can cause serious health problems, particularly respiratory issues, lung irritation, and worsening of asthma.

Long-term exposure to high concentrations of NO2 is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. This gas also contributes to the formation of acid rain and ground-level ozone, which negatively impacts the environment. Measuring and controlling NO2 concentrations are important for protecting human health and air quality.

Calibration Protocol

Calibration Protocol

Each package of Evikon gas detectors includes a factory calibration protocol. The calibration protocol is in English. Gas concentration measurements are influenced by operating temperature and humidity, so calibration during detector production is performed with higher safety in mind.
