Gas detectors for industry

The industrial gas detection system installed in manufacturing facilities is an important element of protecting workers and equipment from the effects of potential emissions of toxic or explosive gases. The system's task is to detect danger in time, warn employees and facility managers, and secure the equipment (e.g., with mechanical ventilation or a shut-off valve). A manufacturing plant is not an ordinary facility, and great emphasis is placed on continuous production. At the same time, however, safety is a priority, and therefore the designer of the gas detection system in an industrial enterprise must carefully consider how to balance these two aspects. Detection of hazardous gases in workplaces is now a standard and integral part of ensuring occupational and operational safety. It thus protects not only human lives and health but also property.

We offer a range of models for effective gas detection. Whether you are looking for detectors for your new facility or need to upgrade your existing detectors in accordance with the latest legislative regulations.

More information about industrial detectors

The manufacturing plant is a living organism that constantly improves and changes. Introducing new products or modernizing processes requires changes in the equipment itself, and thus the need to adapt the plant's equipment to new requirements. Digital technological advancements are completely transforming plant equipment and creating many opportunities, and therefore modern detection systems must correspond to this trend and allow for both the transition to digital communication and the possibility of upgrades without the need to replace the entire system or cabling. Our range of industrial gas detectors includes systems designed to adapt to any space and allow for easy modernization. Addressable sensors and control panels enable the construction of a distributed detection installation, which ensures the detection of various gases in different parts of the plant (e.g., production hall, loading dock, boiler room, or warehouse). The type and parameters of the gas detection system equipment vary depending on the rooms themselves, their purpose, and the presence of people, and must be correctly selected by an experienced designer. In rooms where people are present and toxic gas is measured, dual measurement is required (current value and average gas value in accordance with legal regulations on maximum permissible concentrations). The second aspect is hazard signaling, which can be implemented with signaling devices, light warning signs, or detector displays with variable color (usually green and red in case of an alarm). Unfortunately, popular sirens are not the best solution, as today's operations have so many different light and sound signals that it is difficult for employees to recognize the type of alarm. Considering the high employee turnover, it is practically impossible to recognize the alarm. Illuminated signs with specific inscriptions allow for clear identification of the type of alarm.
