Gas Detector for Oxygen EVIKON E2638-O2-5Y-B-LCD-R-230-RP3-1.5 is designed for monitoring the concentration of oxygen (O₂) in the air. The device uses a long-life electrochemical sensor lasting over 5 years, providing accurate measurements in the range of 0–30% by volume. With its robust construction and reliable performance, it is suitable for industrial and commercial applications where monitoring oxygen concentration safety limits is necessary.

The device is housed in a wall-mounted ABS plastic enclosure with an IP65 protection rating, ensuring its resistance to dust, water, and mechanical damage. The detector features a visual alarm on the LCD display and an acoustic alarm with a volume of 85 dB for timely warning of dangerous oxygen concentrations. The E2638-O2-5Y-B-LCD-R-230 is equipped with two output relays (voltage-free) with a switching contact for remote signaling or control of ventilation or solenoid valves. Additionally, it offers two analog outputs 4–20mA / 0–10V and a digital ModBus RTU RS485 interface for easy integration into control systems.

Common Uses:

The device serves to promptly detect dangerous oxygen concentrations, helping to ensure equipment safety and minimize the risk associated with excess oxygen.

Oxygen O2:

Oxygen (O₂) is a colorless and odorless, yet vital gas making up approximately 21% of the Earth's atmosphere by volume. It is essential for the respiration of humans and animals and is key in many chemical and combustion processes. High concentrations of oxygen can increase the risk of fire, while its deficiency can lead to life-threatening situations. Therefore, monitoring oxygen concentration in enclosed or industrial spaces is crucial for ensuring safety.

Calibration Protocol

Calibration Protocol

Each package of Evikon gas detectors includes a factory calibration protocol. The calibration protocol is in English. Gas concentration measurements are influenced by operating temperature and humidity, so calibration during detector manufacturing is performed with higher safety in mind.
