Propane LPG Detectors

Propane-butane is a flammable gas that forms a highly explosive mixture with air, posing a danger if it leaks from a faulty or defective gas installation. A spark is enough for the accumulated mixture to explode. Conversely, in intact piping, propane-butane is considered completely safe, and there is no risk of explosion or fire. In its gaseous state, it is heavier than air, and therefore, in the event of a leak, it can accumulate at ground level and in depressions. A propane-butane sensor is necessary to timely detect any leakage into the air. Many buildings already plan for the presence of sensors and detectors for this gas at the design stage. In those lacking sensors but having a gas installation, it is worthwhile to install them. The cost of the equipment is an investment in safety. Therefore, we offer propane-butane detectors that will serve well, whether you are looking for detectors for your new premises or need to upgrade your existing detectors in compliance with the latest legislative regulations. These devices are used for continuous monitoring of the presence of propane-butane in enclosed spaces. Using an audible signal (alarm) and a visual signal (LED), they inform people near the sensor of the danger. The signal is deactivated when the gas concentration falls below the level considered safe.
