The chlorine concentration detection sensor is used for detecting and providing early warning of dangerous (toxic) concentrations. The E2608-CL2 sensors are designed to detect hazardous chlorine concentrations in swimming pools, spas, wellness centres, and other facilities. The DM version allows the sensor to be installed directly into HVAC ducts. 

Chlorine is heavier than air. Therefore, chlorine detectors should be mounted approximately 15cm above the floor. When used in HVAC ducts, the sensor is placed directly in the airflow.

The EVIKON E2608-CL2 detector is equipped with a two-stage alarm with outputs to switching relays. It does not have its own light and sound alarm. The E2608 series detectors are an intelligent solution for modern applications with ModBus RS485 communication and two analogue outputs 4-20mA/0-10V.

The sensor can be ordered in the following versions:

• with cable probe (on request)

Manufactured in a robust design with IP65 protection - ABS plastic, resistant to mechanical damage. Rigid, tough, resistant to low and high temperatures, low absorbency, non-toxic. The sensor's lifespan is more than 10 years.

Each sensor is factory-calibrated to default values (described in the manual). The law requires recalibration at least once every 12 months. Calibration can only be performed by a person certified by the manufacturer.
