The carbon dioxide detection sensor is used for detecting and providing early warning of dangerous (toxic) concentrations of carbon dioxide. Typical applications include HVAC and air quality control in public spaces, offices, greenhouses, underground garages, or boiler rooms, and other places where toxic levels of carbon dioxide might accumulate. The device uses a calibrated and thermally compensated NDIR optical sensor for accurate detection. This sensor ensures high stability, repeatability, and long lifespan of the detector. In the event of a leak, carbon dioxide can accumulate in enclosed spaces to toxic levels. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure timely warning of a leak using the detector. Carbon dioxide is heavier than air. The detector should be placed just above the floor, away from corners, recesses, or holes. The recommended coverage area for one detector is 500...1000m², which corresponds to a radius of approximately 12...18m. The EVIKON E2608-CO2 detector is equipped with a two-stage alarm with outputs to switching relays. It does not have its own light and sound alarm. The E2608 series detectors are an intelligent solution for modern applications with ModBus RS485 communication and two analog outputs 4-20mA/0-10V. Stock detector settings:
