Download PDFThe Evikon E2630-VOC is a detector designed for monitoring the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in the air. The device uses a semiconductor sensor that provides accurate measurements of a wide range of organic vapours. With its robust construction and reliable performance, it is suitable for industrial and commercial applications where monitoring safety limits of volatile substances is necessary.
The device is housed in a wall-mounted enclosure with an IP65 protection rating, ensuring its resistance to dust and water. Additionally, it features visual and acoustic alarms for early warning of increased VOC concentrations. The E2630-VOC is equipped with two SPDT relay outputs, allowing easy integration with ventilation and alarm systems.
The E2630-VOC detector is intended for monitoring volatile organic compounds in industrial and commercial environments, such as manufacturing facilities, laboratories, chemical storage areas, paint shops, or other spaces where solvents and other VOCs are used. The device serves to promptly detect hazardous concentrations of volatile organic compounds, helping to ensure equipment safety and minimize the risk of fires or health issues associated with exposure to these substances.
Solvent vapours, known as volatile organic compounds (VOC), are chemical compounds that easily evaporate into the air at normal temperature. These vapours originate from products such as paints, thinners, cleaning agents, adhesives, or fuels. VOCs can negatively affect air quality and pose health risks, such as respiratory irritation, headaches, or long-term effects on the nervous system. They also contribute to smog formation and air pollution, increasing the need for their monitoring and control in industrial and commercial environments.

Each package of Evikon gas detectors includes a factory calibration protocol. The calibration protocol is in English. Gas concentration measurements are influenced by operating temperature and humidity, so calibration during detector manufacturing is performed with higher safety in mind.
