Submersible Pump

The Grundfos SB series submersible pump is designed for pumping clean water from wells or tanks. A major advantage of the pump is its quick and easy installation, which makes it suitable for a wide range of uses in households and gardens.

Usage

The performance range of the SB 3-45 pump is suitable for use in a two-storey house, where it is used for flushing toilets, washing in a washing machine, watering the garden, etc.

The pump includes a suction basket where the maximum diameter of solid particles is 1mm.

Pressure Control Unit

The Grundfos PM START pressure control unit is suitable for automatic switching on or off of the pump (e.g., for water supply to a household). The unit is therefore suitable for applications where the pump needs to be activated based on the current water demand.

Function

The pump is activated at a pressure of 2.2 bar. The PM START unit switches on the pump when the switching pressure is reached, and the pump remains in operation until a low flow is achieved.

The control unit includes dry-running protection and an anti-cycling function.
