Thermostatic heads Thera-3 are installed on valve bodies (TRV). The thermostatic head, in combination with TRV, regulates room temperature by controlling the flow of heating water into the heating device. TRVs are installed in water heating systems at the inlet or (less commonly) at the outlet connection of radiators or other heating systems. The heads comply with European standards ČSN N215.

Thermostatic heads of this type with a Danfoss RA connection thread are suitable for all TRV bodies and radiator inlets with a Danfoss RA connection thread. Heads with Danfoss connection are suitable for TRV bodies and valve inserts with a connection compatible with Danfoss (RA).
