Download PDFThe pressure-independent ball valve Belimo suitable for regulating flow in a water supply system. The valve includes a flow sensor, allowing the device to control the flow rate. It is suitable for closed hot and cold water systems and for modulating control of HVAC and heating systems on the water side. The valve can be adjusted conventionally or remotely via MP-Bus communication.
The ball valve consists of three parts. The control valve regulates the flow rate, the measuring section of the pipe with a flow sensor measures the flow rate, and the actuator controls everything. The measured flow values are compared with the set desired value and are subsequently balanced by the actuator.
