Ball valves with an actuator adapter are essentially the same type as manual valves in threaded or flanged designs, but they are additionally motorisable using suitable actuators. Giacomini ball valves are usually in the basic version with a lever, but BOLA offers special adapters for motorised Belimo LM, NM, and SM series actuators. The range also includes ball valves that are in the basic version operated by a lever, as well as special adapters for mounting electric actuators to these valves. The assortment naturally includes valves designed for regulating water, air, or steam. The unique design ensures minimal torque and allows motorisation using compact and energy-efficient rotary actuators. Ball valves with actuator adapters can be used, for example, for drinking water, utility and heating water, petrol, diesel, oil, glycol, kerosene, air, steam, and other liquid and gaseous media. However, caution must be exercised during installation. The ball valve cannot be suspended, i.e., installed with the actuator facing downwards.
