Flammable Refrigerant Leak Detector R32 for Heat Pumps Evikon E2610-HFC-NC

The gas concentration detection sensor (gas detector) is used to detect and provide early warning of dangerous (explosive) concentrations of the monitored refrigerant. The sensor is suitable for detecting refrigerant leaks from cooling devices, air conditioning systems, and heat pumps. 

The sensor is equipped with two-stage signalling – visual (LED) and audible (85db). Two output relays with changeover contacts can be used for remote signalling or ventilation control. The set switching points are: Relay1= 200ppm, Relay2= 500ppm. 

Initial Calibration

A temperature-compensated durable semiconductor sensor is used for detection. The sensor's lifespan is more than 5 years. The sensor is non-selective = calibrated for R32 -> it reacts to other refrigerants (R-12, R-123, R-125, R-134a, R-143, R-22, R-404a, R-407c, R-410a, R1234yf, and others), flammable gases, solvent vapours, and cleaning agents. The recommended coverage area for one sensor is 80-120 m², 5-6m radius.

Each sensor is factory-calibrated and a calibration protocol in English is included in the package. 

Test Button

The detector is equipped with a test button that initiates the sensor's self-diagnosis. The diagnosis checks the sensor's electrical response, and after 64 seconds, the device resumes stable measurement. The diagnosis does not activate the relay.
