System Separator BA prevents back pressure, backflow, and back siphoning of utility water into the drinking water network. The System Separator BA from SYR contains all the components specified by the DIN EN 1717 standard and, as a three-chamber system, is equipped with a controllable zone of front, middle, and rear pressure.

The practical design allows for a quick check of the system separator's status. With a single glance, you can determine whether the system separator is open or closed. When no water is being drawn, the check valves at the inlet and outlet are closed. In the event of back siphoning, the pressure on the inlet side decreases. The discharge valve opens at the latest when the differential pressure between the front and middle pressure chamber drops to 0.14 bar.

Easy Maintenance
With a simple hand movement, the safety cartridge, controlled by differential pressure, and the built-in dirt trap can be replaced. The ball valves of the three pressure zones allow for a functional test of the fittings with the appropriate measuring devices.
