The Technix Augusta DHP4 CO detector is a stationary semiconductor device designed for the early detection of carbon monoxide (CO) and other flammable gases. It operates in a diffusion air sampling mode without a fan. It is not intended to distinguish a specific gas but reacts to various mixtures of explosive or toxic gases.

The device is powered by a 230 V AC (±10%) mains supply and is equipped with a circuit for backup power of 12 V DC. In the event of a power failure, it can independently activate safety outputs, such as closing a gas valve. The main unit has an IP65 protection rating, and the sensor parts have an IP40 rating.

The detector is equipped with a three-level LED indication (operation, alarm 1, alarm 2, fault), an internal siren, and two relays for connecting external devices. The concentration evaluation occurs approximately every 10 seconds, without delay. The alarm is automatically cancelled when the concentration drops below the set limit.

The device allows for the connection of an external sensor type DHP4S, powered by the main unit. The sensor can be placed in another room or at a different height level, depending on the nature of the detected gas.

Usage:
The detector is suitable for boiler rooms, technical rooms, garages, or areas with a potential presence of CO. Installation must be carried out in a suitable location according to the type of gas – for CO at a height of 1.2–1.5 m. After installation, calibration and a functional test are necessary. Calibration is recommended once a year, and a functional test every 4 months.
