The Schischek ExBox-SW terminal box is designed for the safe connection of external ExSwitch switches to the ExMax series actuators installed in explosive environments. The Ex-e type construction ensures safety in zones 1, 2, 21, and 22 according to the ATEX directive.
The body is made of powder-coated aluminium or stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) with IP66 protection. The ExBox-SW allows for easy cable connection using M20 glands and 1.5 mm² terminals and is equipped with terminals for external ExSwitch, potential equalization, and resistance to temperatures up to +60 °C.
