Ball valve with internal thread for open and closed systems of hot and cold water.

The ball valve is operated by a rotary actuator. Rotary actuators are commonly controlled by standard regulation systems either continuously or in a 3-point manner, and they drive the ball of the ball valve, which acts as a control element, to the position specified by the control signal. Opening the valve occurs counterclockwise, closing occurs clockwise. 

Features:

  • Ball valves can be mounted upright to horizontal. It is not permissible for the ball valve to be suspended, i.e., installed with the shaft facing downwards.
  • It is necessary to comply with the requirements according to VDI 2035 concerning water quality.
  • Ball valves are control elements. To ensure they can perform their regulatory function over the long term, it is recommended to use a dirt filter.
  • The valve is airtight and maintenance-free.
