Whenever a water tap is opened and water supply starts, the pressure sensor detects a drop in pressure due to water loss from the system and activates the pump. The pump is thus activated whenever the pressure drops to equalize it.
Scala2 is a compact domestic waterworks for maintaining constant pressure at all points of use equipped with a frequency converter. The converter regulates the pump speed due to changing pressure at the outlet. The waterworks constantly monitors the outlet pressure and if it drops, the converter increases the pump speed and thus its performance. The pressure is equalized again. This is a more gentle way of controlling the pump, extending its lifespan, as the converter evaluates how many revolutions the pump needs to start.
