The carbon monoxide detection sensor is used for detecting and providing timely warnings of dangerous (toxic) concentrations. The E2608-CO-DM sensors are designed to detect dangerous concentrations of carbon monoxide in ventilation ducts in garages, tunnels, and other exhaust systems. The DM design allows for the sensor to be installed directly into the HVAC duct. 

Carbon monoxide spreads evenly throughout the space. Therefore, carbon monoxide detectors should be mounted approximately 1.5m above the floor, at the head height of the endangered individuals. When used in HVAC ducts, the sensor is placed directly in the airflow.

The EVIKON E2608-CO-DM detector is equipped with a two-stage alarm with outputs to a switching relay. It does not have its own light and sound alarm. The E2608 series detectors are an intelligent solution for modern applications with ModBus RS485 communication and two analogue outputs 4-20mA/0-10V.

The sensor can be ordered in the following versions:

• wall-mounted
• for HVAC duct (this one)
• with a cable probe (on request)

Manufactured in a robust design with IP65 protection - ABS plastic, resistant to mechanical damage. Rigid, tough, resistant to low and high temperatures, low absorbency, non-toxic. The sensor's lifespan is more than 10 years.

Each sensor is factory-calibrated to default values (described in the manual). The law requires recalibration at least once every 12 months. Calibration can only be performed by a manufacturer-certified person.
