Download PDFPressure-independent Belimo ball valve suitable for regulating the flow through a water system. The valve contains a flow sensor , thanks to which the device can control the flow rate. It is suitable for closed hot and cold water systems and for modulating control of air-conditioning and heating systems on the water side. The tap can be set conventionally or remotely using MP-Bus communication.
The ball valve consists of three parts. The control valve controls the flow rate, the measuring part of the pipe with the flow sensor measures the flow rate and the actuator controls everything. The measured flow values are compared with the set setpoint and are then compensated by the actuator.
