This type of thermostatic head is highly resistant to vandalism and theft. It is specially designed for public spaces such as schools, offices, hospitals, barracks, prisons, etc. The thermostatic head is installed directly onto the radiator thermostatic valve (TRV). The thermostatic head is installed directly on the thermostatic valve. The thermostatic head controls the thermostatic valve. Air flows around the temperature sensor inside the thermostatic head; as the temperature rises, the sensor inside the head expands, which reduces the flow of heating water through the thermostatic valve. If the temperature drops, the sensor contracts, proportionally reopening the thermostatic valve. This means that the regulating cone of the thermostatic valve moves according to the room temperature. TRVs are installed in hot water systems on the supply side, with installation on the return side being less common. Honeywell thermostatic regulators with M30 x 1.5 connection are suitable for all TRVs and radiator inserts with an M30 x 1.5 thread and a head control pin of 11.5 mm.
