The fine TRIPLEX rainwater filter FF60 from Honeywell comes with three different filter cartridges - pre-filter, mesh, and activated carbon cartridge. This filter is used for treating and purifying rainwater for simple systems for watering, flushing, washing, and other technical purposes where drinking water is not required. The pre-filter retains undissolved substances. The fine filter prevents the penetration of rust particles, sand, and others, thereby reducing the likelihood of corrosion. The activated carbon cartridge filters dissolved organic material and chlorine. The filter ensures a continuous supply of filtered water.

How the filter works

Water flows through both the washable pre-filter and the fine mesh filter, with particles being trapped on the outside. In the next stage, water flows through the activated carbon cartridge, which filters fine particles and removes unpleasant odours and tastes caused by chlorine or other substances. It also removes pesticides, insecticides, and chlorinated solvents. For hygiene reasons, the filter cartridges need to be replaced every 6 months, and the pre-filter replacement is recommended after 2 years or the third rinse.
