Asbestos-free wafer gasket made of graphite for metal valve flanges. The flexibility and stability of graphite gaskets prevent installation issues – these gaskets do not "stick" to the metal of the flange. The combination of PTFE and graphite offers better sealing properties than standard fibre or rubber gaskets. This gasket is characterized by high chemical resistance – it can be used for pH 0-14, and is unaffected by the presence of oxidizing agents, fluorine, and other chemicals. Also noteworthy is the wide range of applications – the gasket can be used for a variety of applications, including rotary pumps, centrifugal pumps, mixers, and any valves operating at temperatures below +500°C. The maximum continuous operating temperature for steam is +450°C.
