Solenoid Valves Ex

Ex solenoid valves are designed for the safe control of media flow, such as water, steam, oils, or inert gases, in explosive environments. These valves meet strict ATEX certifications for zones 1 and 2, making them suitable for use in chemical, petrochemical, and other industrial sectors.

Types of seals include:

  • NBR (nitrile rubber): Suitable for water, non-aggressive gases. Suitable up to 80 °C.
  • EPDM (ethylene-propylene): Used in applications with water, steam, or chemicals. Suitable up to 130 °C.
  • FKM (Viton): Resistant to high temperatures and chemicals, ideal for aggressive liquids and vapours. Suitable up to 160 °C.
  • PTFE (Teflon): Extremely resistant to chemicals and temperatures, ideal for highly corrosive environments. Suitable up to 180 °C.

The correct choice of seal is crucial to ensure the long life and reliability of the valve in specific operating conditions.
