The new valve design is designed with maximum regard to the high demands and needs of heating and air conditioning systems. It is characterized by high accuracy, long life and excellent user comfort . The valve is used to automatically adjust, regulate flow and pressure and maintain a constant pressure inside the valve.
In combination with the Danfoss actuator, it serves for precise flow control and brings high comfort and favorable overall operating costs. AB-QM 4.0 was developed to minimize overall costs. Its goal is to bring affordable solutions for customer projects with regard to quality and durability. It is suitable for offices , hotels, hospitals and buildings where precise temperature control is required, even in laboratories and research institutes.
The valve can be adjusted manually using the rotary knob with the displayed scale. The setting is visible even after the drive is connected, as it is visible not only from above but also from the side. A scale from 1 to 10 indicates the percentage flow setting in values of 10 ... 100% of the flow. The valve also works with a stroke limiting function.
AB-QM 4.0 are characterized by high accuracy of flow measurement. Optional test plugs with standard center-to-center distance.
The valve is now available in variants with internal or external thread. This product has an external thread. Threaded connection sizes range from DN 15 to DN 32.
Unlike older models, AB-QM 4.0 are designed for higher pressures PN 25/360 PSI. They also allow you to work with a greater range in flow control. Each new valve size also exists in three design flow variants. You can select the valve from low flow (LF), normal and high (HF).
The AB-QM system is operated in variable flow mode. The amount of water that is needed at a given time flows to the individual appliances. This makes the whole system more economical .
The inside of the valve is made of brass DZR materials, the soft parts are made of PPSU polymer. This reduces the risk of limescale clogging and subsequent peeling, which could cause the valve to clog. The stroke of all valve sizes is now 4 mm for all.
The entire valve body is made of DZR brass as 1 part. The new design allows two-way flushing and filling. This saves time before commissioning.
Thanks to the AB-QM valves, the assembly-completed system no longer has to be subsequently balanced , thus eliminating complicated step-by-step measurements and time-consuming adjustment corrections, as is the case with other valves.
The integrated internal pressure regulator has been redesigned for the AB-QM 4.0 and now boasts lower friction and lower hysteresis. The soft parts are again made of PPSU polymer.
Thanks to the integrated differential pressure regulator, the control valve still has 100% authority and therefore always ensures stable control. The compact design allows installation even in small spaces. For example, in fan-coil units.
