Download PDFThe ball valve with non-return valve BALLSTOP is suitable for heating systems. It combines a shut-off valve with a non-return valve. The check valve is located in the closing part of the ball valve. Thanks to this, the valve is installed quickly. It improves the flow through the pipe only with a slight increase in the pressure loss. The valve is resistant to dirt in the system. The moving parts are designed in such a way that they are not susceptible to dirt and deposits, which can occur if the valve is not handled for a long time. The valve reacts even to small changes in back pressure and closes the flow immediately.
The butterfly handle can be used to open or close the valve manually. The check valve cap (2) is pressed against the closing spring (3) during the flow. This keeps the valve open and allows flow. When the inlet pressure drops below the outlet pressure, the preview cap is pushed in the opposite direction and rests on the valve seat. The valve is thus closed and does not allow flow in either direction. This will prevent backflow.
