Download PDFThe DPTE1000 sensor is used to measure differential pressure, overpressure and vacuum in air conditioning systems. They are also used in building automation, for nature protection, for controlling valves and dampers, for monitoring the condition of filters, blowers and levels, and for controlling the air flow.
In operation, the sensor measures the pressure using a thin silicone diaphragm, which the pressure deflects. The resistance of the diaphragm, which is deflected, detects a deflection and generates an output electrical signal. This is converted to an analog signal. Factory setting to 0 ... 10 V signal, can be changed to 4 ... 20 mA.
