The STANDARD series QPM2100 duct sensor is used to measure air quality in pipes and ducts . The sensor checks the level of CO2 in the flowing air in ventilation or air conditioning systems . Sensing is based on the principle of optical measurement of infrared absorption . Sensors can be used to regulate supply or exhaust air or as elements of the building control system. The sensor is ideally suited for rooms where a large number of people gather, such as schools, museums, study rooms, auditoriums, theaters, cinemas, offices and others, where smoking is not permitted at the same time.

This sensor is not intended as a smoke or gas leak warning. At the same time, the sensors are not intended for outdoor use.
