Download PDFMembrane safety valve for closed central heating systems, designed to protect heating equipment against pressure exceedance. It is suitable for use with pressure heaters with ignition or with steam and hot water generating devices. It can also be used in solar heating systems.
The valve body is made from a low-lead brass alloy, and the springs are made from spring steel. The valve seat with sealing is recessed and separated from the membrane. Ventilation of the valve is carried out via a rotary handle.
When selecting the correct valve, the maximum pressure of the heating equipment should be observed. The connection size is determined according to the equipment's output. For equipment with higher output and pressure, a maximum of three safety valves are permitted.
