The RV280 check valve prevents backflow of water in the system. It is used in the commercial and industrial spheres and wherever backflow, back pressure or back suction should be prevented. A suitable location is immediately behind the water meter. It is also possible to use the valve in central heating systems, as a safety device for liquids, behind pumping equipment or in front of water heating equipment.

It can be installed in any position and its use is very versatile. Meets the KTW certificate for contact with drinking water . It guarantees low pressure loss. Can be used in water, oil, compressed air, kerosene, benin and heating oil systems. On the other hand, it is not suitable for steam, heavy oils and benzene.

Function

The non-return valve contains a movable sealing disc. As the medium flows, it lifts the disk to allow it to flow through the valve. The lift value depends on the amount of flowing medium. If the media flow drops to zero and stops, the disc blocks the passage through the valve and reverse flow is prevented. This happens thanks to a spring that constantly pushes the disk against the flowing medium. However, the pressure exerted by the spring is less than the pressure of the flowing medium, so the valve remains open.

In order to achieve the correct function of the ignition, it is recommended to check it regularly.
