The lift actuator is installed directly on the valves with no additional accessories required. Installation is easy and quick. It is designed for VVG549.. valves for HVAC applications . The drive is controlled by a continuous signal with automatic reset to electric operation. Any control signal from those offered can be selected for the drive. One controller can be superior to up to ten servo drives, so this model can be connected in parallel . The actuator is equipped with a spring return function.

The actuator receives a feedback signal at the U terminal. During installation, the drive performs a self-calibration and finds out which end positions the valve spindle can reach. It also immediately detects the actual force-dependent value of the valve lift. It then saves this data for later use.

The drive is also equipped with a foreign body detection function , where it can recognize whether the valve body has been blocked by a foreign body. The drive will then make three attempts to release and if they are not successful, it will start to signal a fault with the LED indicators.

Forced Z control (Z mode) is integrated into the drive design, which is preferred over automatic mode.
