The SAX 61.03 / MO electromotive actuator with Modbus remote communication is suitable for 2- and 3-way lift valves with a lift height of 20 mm in heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems. The valves can be used as control and as shut-off valves.

The drive is very easy to install, no special modifications are required. There is an LED movement and status indicator on his body. It can be optionally expanded with additional functions, auxiliary switch, potentiometer and stem heating.

The actuator is suitable for Siemens valves: V..F21 .., V..F22 .., V..F31 .., V..F32 .., V..F40 .., V..F41 .., V ..F42 .., V..F52 .., and V..F53 ...

Function:

Self -calibration - must be performed during the first commissioning. The actuator moves with the valve to both end positions (upper, lower) and saves the measured values.
Valve seat detection - depends on actuator power. After calibration, the actuator stores the exact stroke of the valve.
Foreign body detection - the actuator is able to detect the presence of a foreign body in the valve and its clogging. If this occurs, the actuator will make three attempts to release the valve. If they do not help, the drive turns on the LED singalization and continues limited operation.
Modbus RTU - not galvanically isolated. Receives the required valve position (0 ... 100%), sends the current position (0 ... 100%). Controls the valve remotely Open / Close / Min / Max / Stop. Monitors the setpoint and backs up the settings.
Position feedback
Forced control - overrides automatic mode. The drive receives this command from the higher-level control unit.
