Download PDFElectromotive actuator SSA118.09HKN with remote KNX communication is suitable for radiator valves (VEN, VDN, VUN, M30x1,5 other manufacturers), combined PICV valves DN 10-32 (VPP46 .., VPI46 ..), MiniCombi valves (VPD, VPE) and small ball valves (VD1..CLC).
It can be used in radiator heating systems, ceiling cooling, VAV and fan coil applications. Thanks to the remote KNX S-Mode communication , the drive receives instructions from the room temperature controller . The actuator can set the valve to any position between two parameterizable limit values. The drive has two potential-free inputs . It is possible to connect several drives in parallel.
If the valve has not been used for a long time, the servophone activates it once every seven days to open and close the valve completely. This prevents the valve from seizing up . The drive is very easy to install. If the drive does not load any application after start-up, it opens automatically by 25% after self-calibration.
1. Protective cover for manual operation. It is opened with a screwdriver.
2. Button for activating / deactivating manual control.
3. Manual adjustment using a hex key.
4. KNX programming button
5. LED position indicator
6. LED indicator of KNX communication
There are two LED indications on the drive body, one for position and the other for KNX communication . The motion indicator is lit in either green or red light. A flashing green light indicates self-calibration or operation of the drive, a steady light indicates that the drive has reached the end position and will turn off after a few seconds. A red light indicates an error and stays on. Alternating flashing of green and red lights indicates manual operation. The KNX communication indicator lights up green, yellow and red. A green constant light indicates that the connection test was successful. A flashing yellow light at short intervals means that the factory settings are being restored, a longer interval indicates the waiting time for a connection. A constant red light indicates that the device is in the addressing / programming process, a shorter interval flashes to indicate that the drive has not been connected, and a longer interval indicates that an error has occurred and a power reset is required.
