Self-priming pumps are surface-mounted pumps, typically used for drawing water from wells or as part of domestic water supply systems. Their advantages include easy operation and affordability.

More information about self-priming pumps

The potential applications of self-priming pumps are truly extensive. Most commonly, self-priming pumps are used for pumping clean or slightly contaminated water for irrigation, sprinkling, transferring, filling, or alternatively emptying tanks. In emergencies, a self-priming pump can be used to pump water during basement or room flooding. This type of pump is characterized by a very short priming time and a simple design, which also contributes to trouble-free operation and low noise levels. High-performance motors ensure fast and reliable media pumping during operation. There are several different designs of self-priming pumps with varying discharge capacities to choose from. Selection should be based on the specific purpose for which the self-priming pump will be most frequently used. The material construction is, of course, stainless steel, so the pump can be reasonably exposed to external influences, does not rust, and does not seize even after prolonged downtime, requiring only minimal maintenance. Power is supplied via a standard 230V power cable with a standard plug. It also includes a dry run protection and reliably pumps up to a height of approximately 8 meters. In our offer, you will find Grundfos and Wilo self-priming pumps.
