The ESBE VTA 520 series thermostatic mixing valve is a suitable component for universal use in domestic hot water installations equipped with HWC (hot water circulation). It is also suitable for smaller underfloor heating circuits (up to 50m²) where special attention is required to temperature range and flow rate.

Valve function

The thermostatic valve features an asymmetrical flow arrangement. The required temperature is set using the rotary knob beneath the top valve cover. It also includes a very important anti-scald function which automatically shuts off the hot water supply in the event of an interruption to the cold water supply.
