The ESBE VTA 520 series thermostatic mixing valve is a suitable component for universal use in domestic hot water installations equipped with HWC (hot water circulation). It is also suitable for smaller underfloor heating circuits (up to 50m²) when special attention needs to be paid to temperature range and flow rate.

Valve Function

The thermostatic valve has an asymmetric flow arrangement. The desired temperature setting is adjusted using a rotary knob under the top cover of the valve. It also includes a very important anti-scald function, which automatically shuts off the hot water supply in the event of a cold water supply interruption.
