The ESBE VTA 570 series thermostatic mixing valve is specifically designed for underfloor heating systems that require protection against scalding from hot water. This protection is necessary both for the piping within the floor and for the floor itself.

This thermostatic valve is also suitable for pre-mixing in domestic hot water systems requiring high flow rates. In this case, additional mandatory devices for regulating water temperature must be installed on the taps to ensure protection at the point of use.

The thermostatic valve can also be used for cooling applications.

Valve Function

The valve has an asymmetrical flow arrangement. It is also equipped with scald protection – if the cold water supply is interrupted, the valve automatically shuts off the hot water supply.
