The D05 series pressure reducing valve protects plumbing applications from excessive network pressure. It prevents damage from vacuum pressure and reduces water consumption. Despite fluctuations in the inlet pressure, the adjustability of the outlet pressure ensures its consistency. By reducing the pressure and maintaining its constant level, noise is minimized that arises from water flow in the application.

Features:

  • inlet pressure compensation - fluctuations in inlet pressure do not affect the outlet pressure
  • replaceable valve insert made of high-quality synthetic material
  • adjustable outlet pressure in the range of 1.5...6 bar with a knob
  • pressure adjustment scale
  • adjustment spring is not in contact with drinking water
  • also available without fittings
  • ACS approved
  • DVGW

How the valve works

Spring-loaded pressure reducing valves operate using a force balance system. The diaphragm force acts against the spring force, causing the valve to open or close. When water is drawn, the outlet pressure decreases, the diaphragm force drops, and the spring can open the valve. Without water draw, the outlet pressure increases, the diaphragm force rises, and the valve closes. The inlet pressure has no effect on the opening/closing of the valve.

For smooth operation, we recommend installing a filter before the valve.
