The C215QPT-B has two measuring terminals through which it measures the pressure drop as it passes through the valve. The drop is measured by the difference between the values at the input terminal and at the output terminal. The fittings can also be used to measure the effectiveness of the differential pressure on the valve, which should be between 16 ... 350 kPa. If this is the case, the valve then operates independently of the pressure and ensures a constant flow.
