The temperature sensor TR 158 is designed for measuring the surface temperature of ferromagnetic bodies with a temperature range of -30 to 150 °C . The minimum surface diameter to accommodate the sensor must be 28 mm, which allows it to be used in a wide range of applications. Thanks to the design of the sensor, a quick response to temperature changes is ensured, especially when using silicone vaseline or thermally conductive paste for better thermal contact . The sensors are intended for use in chemically non-aggressive environments and their use must be adapted to the temperature and chemical resistance of the housing and supply cable.
